This class will combination of the Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi techniques with a Gong Meditation.
Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi : This class is based on the T’ai Chi Qigong Shibashi; or ’24 Form’ combining that with ancient Qi Gong exercises that promote overall health and wellbeing. It gently stimulates the internal organs, exercises the body, calms the nervous system and mobilizes the joints. With consistent practice, Tai Chi can leave you warm, relaxed and gently stimulated. In time, the mind can achieve a stillness and clarity rarely experienced with other forms of exercise. It helps to develop harmony with the world on a physical, mental, emotional and ultimately, spiritual level. This calmness eventually pervades the whole body, leaving you less stressed and more refreshed at the end of the day. The gentle movements of this art make it appropriate for participants at any age or fitness level seeking improved well-being, vitality, health, balance and relaxation.
Gong Meditation: A powerful way to bring your body and mind into balance, combat physical pain, low energy and depression. A gong meditation can shift your being from a state of suffering into a state of healing and clarity. Even if you are healthy and feeling fine, a gong meditation or sound healing can give you a super-charged sense of well-being!
